It will show what level your gymnast is on and what skills they are attempting to achieve at that level. Only coaches are allowed to tick off the skills shown in the journal.

Throughout the term children work towards our Dolphina Levels.

Each gymnast in our after school and weekend classes are given a ‘Gymnastics Journal’ this shows the parent and gymnast what level they are working towards and the skills that need to be achieved, parents and gymnasts can track their progress with the journal. Gymnasts are given three stickers each week to put in their journal, two apparatus stickers and one feedback sticker.

*Gymnastics Journals are included within your termly fees & joining fee however, if you loose your journal there will be a small charge to replace it.

Preschool:

Children in our Me & My Shadow Classes work towards the fundamental badges. Children in our Little Gymnasts Class work towards the BG proficiency 1st, 2nd & 3rd badges.

Recreational:

Levels 8 to 5 are worked in the novice classes. Once children have passed Badge 5 they move to our intermediate classes. They then work badges 4 to 1. Once they have passed there badge 1 they move to our Advanced classes and work towards the Bronze, Silver & Gold levels.

We aim for gymnasts to pass one level per term; however, it is important to understand that all gymnasts progress at their own pace and therefore are not always guaranteed to achieve a level, especially our Level 1, Bronze, Silver & Gold as there is lots more skills to achieve

Badge & Certificates for each Level can be purchased for your gymnast if you choose to and they will be presented to them in their next session. An email will be sent to you to notify that your gymnast has passed their level, there will be a link in the email where you purchase the badge, alternatively you can purchase them from our Office.

There is two small car parks with FREE parking outside the building and plenty of parking on the streets in the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any viewing. You can see into the hall from the entrance doors and you are able to wait in the lobby area whilst your child is in their class.

Dolphina mainly communicates through emails, please make sure we have the correct email address for you and be sure to check it regularly.

Be sure to follow us on our social media handles, Instagram & Facebook, as we share information, upcoming events as well as new skills achieved by gymnasts within sessions.
