Our Three Levels

NOVICE CLASSES

Our Novice classes are for children who are working towards their badge 8 to 5 and are relatively new to gymnastics. Typically children in this class tend to be 4 (must be in reception) to 7yrs.

Please note: When booking, most of our Novice classes are labelled as ‘Novice/Intermediate’ this just means that there are a mixed of novice & intermediates in this session but children as always grouped according to ability and gymnastics level.


INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

Our intermediate classes are for children who are working towards their badge 4 to 1. Gymnasts should have some knowledge on rolls, handstands & cartwheels. Typically children in this class tend to be 8yrs+

Please note: When booking, most of our Intermediate classes are labelled as ‘Novice/Intermediate’ this just means that there are a mixed of novice & intermediates in this session but children as always grouped according to ability and gymnastics level.

ADVANCED CLASSES

Our Advanced classes are for children who have passed their Badge 1. They should be able to roll forwards & backwards, cartwheel, handstand, handstand forward roll, bend back to bridge and kick over confidently. Children tend to be aged 11+ in this class.

We offer taster sessions where you can pay for a one-off class to see if you enjoy it before committing to further sessions. Taster sessions can only be booked a week in advance, and payment must be made at the time of booking.

(Paid termly, the amount of weeks per term varies)

1hr Advanced Classes:
£13.00 per session + Joining Fee + British Gymnastics Insurance
(Paid termly, the amount of weeks per term varies)

1.5hr Advanced Classes:
1.5HR £18.00 per session + Joining Fee + British Gymnastics Insurance
(Paid termly, the number of weeks per term varies)

Please note all payments are non-refundable.

DOLPHINA JOINING FEE

£15.50

Your joining fee is a one-time payment that covers your membership while you’re taking classes with us . If you’re already a member but don’t renew during the renewal window or  don’t rebook before the start of the next term, the joining fee will need to be paid again if you return.


BG INSURANCE

£24.00

Annual payment, due every September. Needed when you book termly.
Dolphina do NOT take payment for this, you need to register and pay for your child through BG.


CATCH UP SESSIONS

At Dolphina Gymnastics Club, we understand that children may occasionally miss their regular class due to sickness, holidays or other events . To support our families, we offer a maximum of 3 catch-up classes per term as a goodwill gesture. All catch-up classes are strictly subject to availability.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Notification Deadline

If your child is unable to attend their regular class, you must notify the club before 12:00pm on your child’s usual training day.

2. Catch-Up Requests

Catch-up classes can only be requested up to one week in advance. Requests made more than one week in advance cannot be accepted.

3. Sickness Catch-Ups

Catch-up classes for sickness must be taken within the week following the missed class.

4. Holiday Catch-Ups

Holiday catch-ups must be taken either during the week before your holiday or the week after you return.

5. Events

Catch-ups for other events must be requested in advance and taken within an agreed timeframe, subject to availability.

6. No Changes

Once a catch-up class has been booked, it cannot be changed, cancelled or transferred.

7. Goodwill & Availability

All catch-up classes are offered as a goodwill gesture and are strictly subject to availability. Catch-up classes are not guaranteed, and Dolphina Gymnastics Club reserves the right to decline a catch-up request where no suitable space is available.
