\n \n \n What Does My Child Need To Wear For Their Class?<\/span>\n

If you enrol your child on a course at Dolphina, it is compulsory for them to wear the correct Dolphina uniform. You can purchase uniform from our Shop located at the gym (next to our office)<\/p>\n

In our Recreational classes, girls are required to wear the Dolphina leotard (shorts and leggings are optional) or Dolphina T-shirt with leggings\/shorts. Boys must wear the Dolphina T-shirt with black or navy shorts.<\/p>\n

In our Preschool classes, children must wear appropriate sports clothing, such as shorts\/leggings and a T-shirt. We offer ‘Little Gymnast’ T-shirts which can be purchased from our Shop and worn to classes. <\/p>\n

Clothing such as tights, socks, buckles, buttons, zips, hoodies, jeans, skirts, dresses, belts, or tassels are not appropriate and cannot be worn during class. If your child attends wearing inappropriate clothing, they may\n not be able to take part in the class.<\/p>\n

If your child is taking part in a taster session or attending a camp, appropriate sports clothing must be worn. Dolphina uniform is not required until you become a member and are taking part in our Afterschool\/weekend classes\n or apart of our Squad* (*Squad have slightly different uniform requirements)<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n \n \n Do you offer Taster Sessions?<\/span>\n

We offer taster sessions for our Pre-school and After-school classes.<\/p>\n

You can book a taster session online by clicking [here]. If you would like to speak to a member of our team before booking, please call the centre on 01923 800158. Please note, we only offer taster sessions for classes where\n we have availability. We recommend choosing a class that you would like to attend on a weekly basis, but we understand that this may not always be possible depending on our availability.<\/p>\n

We strongly recommend booking a taster session before committing to a course, as all courses at Dolphina are non-refundable. While one taster session is preferred, we do allow for a maximum of two taster sessions in certain\n circumstances before booking the full course.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

We ask that you do your best to be prompt with the arrival time for a class, however we understand that there may from time to time be slight delays, letting us know is always super helpful so we can prepare and keep things\n smooth.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Unfortunately if a member misses a class due to lateness or generally being unavailable, then they are unable to join an alternative class for that week. All of our classes at Dolphina are full and children are booked onto\n particular days and times. Refunds are not given for missed classes.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n \n \n How should my child have their hair?<\/span>\n

Long hair must be tied up. If the pony tail is lower that shoulder height it must be tied into a plait or bun to avoid catching whilst training.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n \n \n What is your Jewellery Policy<\/span>\n

During any class at Dolphina ALL jewellery MUST BE removed.<\/p>\n

Dolphina follows British Gymnastics strict Guidelines on Jewellery. This is for Health and Safety purposes and must be followed anyone failing to follow these guidelines will be unable to partake in gymnastics at Dolphina.<\/p>\n

Gymnasts are not permitted to wear earrings, rings, necklaces, religious bands, bracelets or any other form of jewellery on their hands, feet, ankles wrists or neck.<\/p>\n

Earrings should be removed, any gymnast with newly pierced ears will be permitted to wear tape over the piercing for the 6 week healing period. Please make sure earrings are covered in advanced, Dolphina does not supply tape.\n (Please note this will void the British gymnastics insurance policy for the duration that the earrings are in.) The parent\/Guardian of the gymnast will be required to see reception to fill in a consent form. No gymnasts will\n be permitted to train if a consent form is not filled in.<\/p>\n

Gymnasts may train for a maximum of 6 weeks with tape after which time gymnasts will be required to remove the earrings for training. Failure to do so will result in the gymnast being unable to go into their class.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Yes provided we have space available on an alternative time and day you can change your child\u2019s class. Please note this will incur a \u00a310 Admin fee to cover the cost of ensuring all details have been updated for the change.<\/p>\n

We have a \u00a315 Joining fee, for our Recreational, Preschool & Squad Classes. <\/p>\n

Joining Fee Info<\/strong> Your joining fee is a one-time payment that covers your membership <\/span>while you\u2019re taking classes with us<\/strong>\n . If you\u2019re already a member but <\/span>don\u2019t renew during the renewal window<\/em> or <\/span>\n don\u2019t rebook before the start of the next term<\/em>, the joining fee will need to be paid again if you return.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dolphina is affiliated to British Gymnastics as our sports governing body. Children who take part in our After School\/Weekend classes, Little Gymnasts class, General and Artistic Squads required to have the insurance to\n partake in regular activities. This is an insurance that all of our Coaches and Gymnasts have and are required to renew each year in September. You will need to register your child on British gymnastics & pay for the\n insurance.  *Dolphina will no longer be taking payment for the insurance and is solely the responsibility of the parent\/carer. *<\/em><\/p>\n

We send out renewals for the next course approximately 4 week before the end of the current term. You will receive you renewal via email, (please make sure you check your junk mail!) and you can pay via our customer portal.\n You will have a week to pay your renewal before your child\u2019s name is removed from the register. Yes! We have a cosy viewing room where parents can sit and relax. There are a few toys and activities to keep siblings entertained, there’s a small TV screen showing the gym in action\u2014and you can also see directly into the\n space from the gym doors.<\/p>\n
